- 2 cups Gala apples, chopped & peeled
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine apples and cinnamon. Microwave on high until apples are soften, 3-5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In a measuring cup, add milk, butter and vanilla; stir until combined.
- Combiner the milk/butter mixture with the dry ingredients.
- Fold in the soften apples.
- Pour into a 9" deep-dish pie plate.
- Bake 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Slightly cool before serving.
